Registration and Schedule Information for March 24-25 at the 949 Roller Hockey Center

Today, we are working on the schedule for Saturday and Sunday at Irvine (March 24-25).
Unfortunately, there were serious and substantial cutbacks in the rink time that is available at Irvine. We just recently learned about this. Saturday is somewhat less of a problem, as we can go later into the evening. Sunday has become a huge problem, due to the reduction in rink time. We have several out of region teams that registered very early and need to get back on the road. The schedule needs to reflect that concern. Also, we just can't go too late on Sunday for obvious reasons.
We are doing our best to get everyone in. If we are unable to get everyone in, we will look to the registrations and place them in the order that they were received.
Registration is becoming problematic in that too many registrations are coming in later and later. This makes it difficult to formulate a schedule in a timely manner. It also prevents us from sending out the standard confirmation email, as substantially increasing the volume at the last minute makes it difficult to determine where the cutoff will be.
The deadline for registration remains at 3PM on the Sunday before the tournament. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis and we may be sold out prior to the deadline.
Going forward, we will carefully monitor the order in which the registration process is completed (registration form and payment) and place each team in order accordingly. Remember, payments are not processed until, at the earliest, 10 days before the tournament. We believe that we will be able to get the schedule for Saturday up on the website today (Wednesday, March 21). Due to the lack of rink time and the late registrations, the schedule for Sunday may not go up on the website until tomorrow (Thursday, March 22).
